Flexible technical solution for beekeeping
This fertilization hive is designed for boththe 'rearing and fertilization of queen bees and the handling of swarms. Made of 2 .5-cm-thick fir wood , it offersstrength and thermal insulation, which are key features for nucleus and queen management in professional beekeeping.The body of the hive is divided into three independent compartments : two side compartments with four frames each and a central one with three frames. Each compartment has a removable cover and hole for insertingfeeder , facilitating the supply of bees without disturbing nesting. A 10/10 galvanized sheet metal cover and two dividing diaphragms complete the equipment, allowing the structure to be transformed into a practical nest holder by removing the internal divisions.
Effectiveness against varroa is ensured by the bottom consisting of wire mesh and removable drawer for natural pest control and collection. The total dimensions of 50x40x27.5 cm make it versatile for placement in the apiary. The inner frames , approximately 30x22 cm ,allow for easy management of the combs by reducing the stress on the colonies during handling.
