A practical tool for picking up swarms that stick to overhead branches.
It consists of a metal frame on which a sack with metal eyelets is mounted.
It allows you to reach high up via any wooden or metal stick (not provided).
Once the swarm has entered the sack, you pull the string that tightens the closure and cut off the branch.
After picking it up, you rest the bottom of the swarm catcher on the hive frames, untie the knot and wait for the bees to come down.
