steel Decanting tank, double-walled, stainless steel, to collect honey directly at the outlet of the honey extractor and immediately rid it of coarse impurities. The cavity between the two walls and the bottom contains water heated by a thermostated electric heating element (2000 W with a 30-120°C thermostat). This provides useful heating that fluidizes the honey and makes it faster to clean. The inner bottom is sloped toward the outlet for full discharge. At the top is a removable roughing filter, which does the initial cleaning. The tank is then fitted with 5 vertical movable bulkheads which, mounted alternately high and low cause the honey to travel as through siphons and, by difference in specific gravity, a second progressive cleaning is achieved. The tank is complete with the honey suction pipe, diam. 50mm, and a plexiglass lid.
