The 8-way bee escape is a tool designed to facilitate the separation of bees from the honeycomb during operations prior to honey harvesting. Consisting of a 50x50-cm wooden board and a Ø 25-cm round plastic bee opener with star-shaped exit geometry, it is ideal for standard hives with 12 frames.Operation and Advantages
The installation of the apiscope between nest and honeycomb allows bees to flow from top to bottom with no possibility of return, taking advantage of the eight radial channels that reduce colony stress and optimize hive emptying time. Waiting 24-48 hours allows almost complete emptying without the need for mechanical disturbance.The sturdy wooden board ensures long-lasting use and good stability on the hive structure. The plastic radial configuration provides efficiency, facilitating a clean, safe and hive integrity friendly honey extraction operation.
