Technical solution designed for targeted application of formic acid in beekeeping. This frame allows effective management of varroasis treatments in bee colonies. Consisting of a sturdy hive frame, it integrates three plastic bottles equipped with a cap and felt strips that promote the controlled evaporation of the active ingredient through the constant release of the product into the hive's internal environment.Usage and Advantages
The use of 60 percent formic acid proves to be particularly suitable in biological anti-varroa treatments, leaving no significant residue on hive production. The design allows the frame to be placed directly inside the hive, making dissemination simple and safe even for less experienced operators, limiting the risks of accidental exposure. Gradual evaporation occurs through the felt strips, ensuring efficacy and uniformity in treatment.Technical features
